2012 "Direct Ask" Donor Reception Party

The Foundation had a donor reception party for all the 2011 Falcon Friend level and above Direct Ask Campaign. The Wine and Cheese reception was highlighted by the unveiling of our new IPAD'S and recharging cart. John Collins- PUSD SuperIntendent and Oak Valley Principal Sonya Wrisley were in attendance speaking on the importance of technology in our classrooms.
Who We Are? A non-profit 501(c)(3)
OVFF is a non-profit, private corporation created for the purpose of raising funds to provide necessary services and resources to the students, teachers, and staff of Oak Valley Middle School.
We have provided:
- Technology not covered by the District (computers & docucams)
- The set of “at home” books
- Library support materials
- After school academic programs
Why We’re Here
Educational foundations such as OVFF work to raise funds to bridge the gap created by budgetary restrictions. Our mission statement is to enhance and support the learning experience of each Oak Valley student.
What We’re Doing
Given our financial fund raising challenges this year, the OVFF board has planned these major events:
- Direct Ask Campaign - The Oak Valley Falcon Foundation would like to thank you for your participation in our First Annual Direct Ask Fundraising Campaign. We wish to express our deep appreciation for your generosity and commitment to the students at Oak Valley Middle School. Our first priority is to fund our goal of purchasing a Mobile IPAD Lab w/ 40 IPADS on a recharging cart which will be used in classrooms to enhance every students learning experience at Oak Valley.
